Hi, I’m Lisa Pogue, founder and owner of Sweet Intention Gift Boutique in the heart of downtown Camas, Washington.
I’ve always had an entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for connecting with people.
In addition to Sweet Intention, I am also the founder of DC Lending, a mortgage brokerage I started in 2018. Today, I continue to serve clients from our Camas office, located just behind the boutique in an adjoining suite of offices.
Supporting small businesses has always been close to my heart. At Sweet Intention, we’re proud to carry many locally made products and help other businesses create meaningful connections through thoughtful corporate and client gifting.
I truly believe that when we support one another, out entire community becomes stronger. Before returning to the gift industry, I owned a boutique in Hillboro, Oregon called Jill Corinne Sweet Shop, named after my daughter. Many of the things I loved about that store, including the beautiful gifts, locally crafted products and Candy Basket Chocolates, continue to inspire what we do at Sweet Intention today.
While I may have founded Sweet Intention, the heart of our shop is our incredible team. They work hard every day to create beautiful gifts, care for our customers and make everyone who walks through our doors feel welcome seen and appreciated. Ginny is one of the creative hearts behind Sweet Intention. If you've ever walked through our shop and admired a beautiful display, found yourself drawn to a thoughtfully curated collection or commented on how inviting everything feels, chances are, you've experienced Ginny's talent firsthand.
As our lead merchandiser, Ginny has an incredible gift for creating displays that are both beautiful and inspiring. Her eye for design, attention to detail and creativity help transform our shop into a place where customers love to browse, explore and discover something special. The compliments we receive on our displays are a reflection of the care and artistry she pours into her work every day.
A few years ago, Ginny made the move from Nashville to Washougal and we couldn't be more grateful that her journey led her to Sweet Intention. Beyond her talent, she brings warmth, kindness and a wonderful sense of teamwork that makes her a joy to work with.

Jim is the maker, builder and problem-solver behind many of the unique products you'll find at Sweet Intention. While you may not always see him on the sales floor, his work is woven throughout our shop in countless ways.
From laser engraving and sublimation to creating custom apparel with our heat press, Jim helps bring many of our creative ideas to life. He is also the craftsman behind our popular booze bottle candles, carefully cutting bottles donated by local restaurants so they can be transformed into on-of-a-kind candles made right here at Sweet Intention..
Beyond his creative talents, Jim is always willing to lend a hand wherever needed. Whether he's picking up our chocolates each week, fixing something around the shop, helping with deliveries, building displays or tackling the next project on our ever-growing list, he does it all with a generous spirit and a can-do attitude.
Sweet Intention wouldn't be the same without Jim's hard work, creativity and willingness to help with just about everything. We are incredibly grateful for the many ways he supports our team and helps turn ideas into reality every day.
Chana's full-time career is in real estate, where she serves as the Managing Broker for Century 21 Northstar. With her extensive experience, leadership and passion for helping people, she has built a successful career guiding clients through one of life's most important decisions.
That's why we feel especially fortunate that she chooses to spend part of her weekends with us at Sweet Intention. Most Sundays, you'll find Chana helping customers, sharing her warm smile and bringing her positive energy to our team.
As a wife and someone who genuinely enjoys connecting with others, Chana loves the opportunity Sweet Intention provides to meet new people and be part of the joyful moments that gifting creates. Her friendly personality, caring nature and ability to make people feel comfortable make her a wonderful addition to our shop.
